As the UK government moves to consolidate its sanctions regime into a single, unified UK Sanctions List (UKSL), your Amiqus screening processes remain trusted, fast and accurate.
What is the change?
The UK government is streamlining its sanctions data, moving away from the UK Sanctions List and the OFSI Consolidated List to a new consolidated UK Sanctions List (UKSL).
This structural change will simplify reporting but has required data providers to update how this critical information is ingested and mapped.
(N.B. This change only affects UK sanctions, with no impact to PEPs, adverse media, or non-UK sanctions lists).
Our proactive response
We have worked closely with our data providers to ensure this transition is handled with precision. Our technical and compliance teams have already integrated the updated UKSL data structure into our platform, ensuring that every search you conduct is undertaken against the correct data sources, and removing the risk of screening against outdated or incomplete UK sanctions data.
Zero action required from you
We understand that MLROs and compliance teams have enough on their plates. You do not need to change your workflows, update settings, or take any action. These changes have been applied “behind the scenes” to ensure total continuity of service.
Ahead of the deadline
While the official deadline for these changes is the 28th of January 2026, we are pleased to confirm that these updates have already been successfully deployed across our platform. By staying ahead of the regulatory curve, we ensure there is no “compliance gap” for your business.
Why automated screening beats manual searching
In a constantly shifting regulatory landscape, manual searching on government portals is not only time-consuming but carries significant risk of human error—especially when data structures change.
By using our automated platform, you benefit from:
- Audit-ready results: Instant, timestamped reports for every check.
- Horizon scanning: We actively monitor global regulatory shifts and changes, making platform updates and improvements proactively so you don’t have to.
- Reliability: Our technology is built to handle complex data migrations like the UKSL update, ensuring your business remains protected 24/7.
At Amiqus we don’t just provide a tool; we provide the peace of mind that your compliance infrastructure is always one step ahead.
