Our commitment

Amiqus is committed to ensuring our products and services are accessible to as many people as possible.

We design digital identity and compliance services that help people access employment, housing, legal, financial, and public sector services. We recognise that accessibility is fundamental to ensuring these services can be used confidently and independently by a wide range of people.

Accessibility is embedded throughout our research, design, engineering, and testing processes. We are committed to continuously improving our services and removing barriers wherever possible.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standard across our platforms.

Accessibility approach

At Amiqus, we recognise that accessibility is about more than technical compliance.

Factors such as confidence, stress, cognitive load, familiarity with technology, and the context in which a service is used can all affect how accessible an experience feels.

Our approach includes:

  • accessibility reviews against WCAG 2.2 AA
  • user research and usability testing
  • accessibility audits and remediation work
  • accessible design systems and engineering standards
  • ongoing monitoring and continuous improvement

We aim to create services that are clear, predictable, and usable for people with a wide range of needs, abilities, and levels of digital confidence.

Compliance status

Amiqus platforms are partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA.

Many areas of our products meet accessibility requirements and have been designed with accessibility considerations from the outset. However, some areas do not yet fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA and we continue to address identified issues through our ongoing accessibility programme.

Known accessibility limitations

We are aware of some accessibility issues across our platforms, including:

  • occasional colour contrast issues
  • some screen reader compatibility issues
  • some interactive elements that require further accessibility improvements
  • areas where responsive behaviour and text resizing can be improved

We are actively working to address these issues through regular audits, testing, and product improvements.

What we’re doing to improve accessibility

Accessibility is an ongoing priority at Amiqus.

Our current work includes:

  • addressing issues identified through accessibility audits
  • improving screen reader compatibility and focus management
  • enhancing keyboard navigation and semantic structure
  • improving colour contrast and visual presentation
  • ensuring content remains usable at larger text sizes and zoom levels
  • integrating accessibility checks into design and development processes

We also continue to gather feedback from users and incorporate accessibility findings into product planning and delivery.

Feedback and contact information

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our services.

If you experience accessibility issues, require information in a different format, or would like to provide feedback, please contact: [email protected]
