About the role

As a Senior Front-End Engineer at Amiqus, you will be pivotal in shaping the user interface of our digital solutions, focusing on creating a responsive, robust, and modern front-end that enhances user experiences. This role demands a blend of technical expertise and creativity to ensure our applications are both functional and visually appealing.

In addition, some of the key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the development of high-performance front-end architectures that prioritise performance and scalability while ensuring a compelling user experience.
  • Craft testable, performant, and high-quality software using Agile methodologies, contributing actively to our continuous improvement in these practices.
  • Champion our front-end stack, particularly the Vue ecosystem, including state management, routing, developer tools, CLI and more, across version 2.0 and 3.0. Lead by example by taking ownership of this knowledge.
  • Ensuring accessibility is a core value of our company, and we are continuously striving to enhance it by following WCAG 2+ AA guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with back-end teams to integrate APIs smoothly and efficiently, enhancing both the functionality and the user experience of our applications.
  •  Experience with change management, planning, and implementing changes to software products in a systematic manner, while minimising disruption and risk to the projects.

About you

  • Significant experience with modern front-end technologies and confidence in JavaScript, including debugging, unit, and integration testing.
  • An advocate for clean, well-documented code and an active contributor to enhancing internal documentation.
  • Experience with common development practices such as CI/CD pipelines, test automation, Agile & Scrum methodologies, distributed version control, and build tools.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A pragmatic problem solver who is passionate about software development and motivated by a desire to make a meaningful impact on our customers.

Our interview process
