A new way to manage your watchlist monitors

Stay ahead of ever changing watchlists

Sanctions lists and politically exposed persons (PEP) databases change constantly. Adverse media can surface overnight. For regulated firms such as law firms, accountancy and financial services, keeping up isn’t just time-consuming, it’s critical.

Missing an update can mean unknowingly working with sanctioned individuals or high-risk clients, putting your reputation and compliance at risk.

Amiqus removes that burden. Our Watchlist Monitoring checks screen clients against global sanctions, PEPs, and adverse media sources and continue to monitor them for one or three years, alerting you when something changes.

Easier-than-ever monitoring

Traditional email alerts can be easy to overlook and hard to manage, especially across busy teams. That’s why we’ve introduced the Watchlist Management Table, a single dashboard that shows every active monitor, when it expires, and any recent updates.

  • Clear visibility: See at a glance who’s being monitored and what’s changed.
  • Smart filters and sorting: Quickly find active monitors with recent updates.
  • Team-friendly: Multiple staff can access the same central dashboard, removing the need to rely on one inbox or individual.

The result? Stronger compliance, fewer missed alerts, and no extra admin.

“It tells you what monitoring it’s doing. It tells you, if there’s matches, if there’s not matches, when it expires and what type it is, whether it’s just a report or whether it has ongoing monitoring.”

Flexible screening, built around your risk policy

Set the right level of screening for each client, from standard AML/KYC checks to enhanced profiles that include sanctions, PEPs, and adverse media. Ongoing monitoring means you’re notified if a client’s status changes, so you can act quickly and confidently.

How it works

If you have the watchlist check enabled in Amiqus, you will see the Watchlist tab within the People section of your dashboard. The Watchlist tab also shows the number of watchlist monitors with alerts, giving you instant visibility of whether there are any changes you need to review.

You can use filters to easily identify monitors that have updates, and prioritise them by category. You can also filter to see monitors that have expired, or are expiring soon. This allows you to quickly find the most important warnings, obtain a list of PEPs or possible PEPs among your client population, and see which monitors may soon require extending.

Whatever filters or searches you apply, you can then export the results in CSV or JSON format, making it easy to include them in other database or send information to colleagues for reporting or audit purposes.
