Amiqus is delighted to announce the continued certification to three core certifications—ISO 27001:2022, UK Digital Identity and Attributes Trust Framework (DIATF), and Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+). Over the last couple of months our Security, Audit, Risk and Compliance (SARC) team has been audited externally against these industry standards. With three excellent results and feedback, we have successfully re-certified all three.

In this article, our Senior Risk & Compliance Manager, Peter Montgomery breaks down the details of these certifications and their importance.

What Are ISO 27001:2022, DIATF and Cyber Essentials Plus

ISO 27001:2022 is the latest version of a globally recognised standard in information security which provides Amiqus with the frameworks to ensure we are implementing, operating and monitoring our information security through our Information Security Management System.

Certification to ISO 27001:2022 is an output from our continued day-to-day ways of working against this standard and ensuring our controls, processes and procedures align to take our role in securing and looking after your and your data subjects’ data to the highest standard.

Cyber Essentials Plus is a UK Govt certification scheme which allows Amiqus to demonstrate our operational security against common threats and commitment to the UK Govt intent to demonstrate controls against such threats.

DIATF is a core certification which showcases our certification and alignment with the UK Govt set of rules when it comes to providing services as an Identity Service Provider (IDSP) and digital identities. Introduced in 2021, the DIATF is now in a beta and most recent version of the framework. Amiqus actively works with the UK Govt through the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) to help support the development of the DIATF and ensure the goal of a secure and trusted digital identity product within the UK.
