We’re always listening to your feedback, working to improve the accessibility of Amiqus and give you a smoother all-round experience. And this month, we have a lot of good news to share.
More control over your compliance process and less time spent ticking boxes
We’re really proud of how quickly a user can complete a compliance check with Amiqus ID. But many of you told us that having to select the same checks over and over again can be tiresome. So we’re very happy to announce you can now save groups of pre-selected checks into what we’ve called a request template. This means you can select your required set of checks from a drop-down menu.
For example, you might set up a request template for your employee onboarding process and another for your clients. These templates are completely customisable by you. And they’re only for internal use, so they’re not visible to your client or candidate.
This means you can have confidence your requests are consistent and compliant, particularly if you’re managing a team of users. You’ll also have more time for other things.

More flexibility to suit your workflow
A much asked-for feature, you can now send a request without needing to include a check. This means that you could send out a particular form or document to your clients or candidates without having to include anything else.
A more accessible colour palette
Accessibility is a term that gets used a lot, but many of us have a different understanding of what this means. We believe it’s about making things available to everyone and it’s one of the core values of Amiqus.
With that in mind, we’re striving to do more to make our application meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to an AA standard. There are many considerations for this, from being screen reader friendly, ensuring icon buttons have descriptive labels, to colour contrast between text and the background it sits on.
We’ve taken a big leap forward in improving the contrast of our colour palette across the entire product.
