About the role

The SDR role is a critical part of our go-to-market team and the first touch point for prospects. You will be responsible for engaging and qualifying inbound leads, providing an excellent customer experience, and a seamless handoff to the Amiqus sales team. You will also be working closely with marketing to follow up with our leads from marketing led events and secure registrations for our events.

We’re looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales development representative (SDR) to join our growing team at Amiqus, the most trusted global compliance and onboarding platform. This role focuses on generating new business across the UK & Ireland, driving pipeline through proactive outreach, and supporting both our sales and marketing ecosystem.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Qualify inbound leads and manage early-stage pipeline conversations
  • Follow up with prospects who attended marketing events
  • Maintain clean records and workflows in HubSpot
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to refine targeting and outreach
  • Book meetings with C-level or key stakeholders that align to our ICPs
  • Proactively research and prospect into UK-based SMB, Mid-Market and Enterprise businesses
  • Use outbound channels (phone, email, LinkedIn, events) to generate meetings
  • Deliver against activity and pipeline KPIs
  • Working with marketing to call & sequence prospects as part of overarching campaigns & ABM
  • Collaborate & Share Best Practices: You will be working with the Sales team, Marketing team, Leadership team and our Support team to give feedback, and help the Amiqus GTM team improve. You will also contribute to a collaborative team environment.

In an ideal world, we’d hire some who has:

  • Proven experience in an SDR, BDR, or Inside Sales role, ideally in the UK & Ireland market space
  • Strong cold-calling and lead qualification skills
  • Excellent communication, resilience, and a results-driven mindset
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot,Salesforce, Salesloft) and sales tools
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and looking to grow their career in sales
  • 1–2 years of experience in a B2B outbound sales, lead generation, or SDR/BDR role
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven
  • Comfortable with phone, email prospecting and high outbound activity
  • Interest in Compliance, Automation or SaaS is a strong plus
  • Curious mindset with a willingness to learn from feedback and coaching
  • Experience working with marketing and supporting in marketing events
  • Understanding of any sales methodology framework is a big advantage

Who are you?

  • You’re early in your sales career and hungry to prove yourself. Maybe you’ve worked as an SDR before, or you’re coming from a sales customer-facing role with prospecting experience and ready to step into a fast-paced B2B environment.
  • You’re a natural communicator, confident on the phone with great organisational skills, you own a repeatable prospecting strategy that generates meetings within new business, you’re curious in your questioning, and always looking for ways to improve.
  • You’re motivated by targets, but even more by learning, coaching, and being part of a high-performance sales culture.
  • You’re resilient, proactive, and not afraid to break new ground. Whether you’re booking your first meeting of the day or following up on a lost deal, following up on events and working with marketing you bring energy, professionalism, and a commercial mindset.
  • If you’re looking to build a career in marketing or sales, with a company that’ll invest in your development, you’ll fit right in
