Introduction
Amiqus Wallet (“Wallet”) is a convenient mobile and website application from Amiqus Resolution Limited (‘Amiqus’, ‘we’, ‘us’, or’ ‘our’) which offers users the opportunity to create a secure online account to upload and store important information and documents you need when accessing our services.
This notice sets out the type of personal information we collect about you, why we collect it, and how we use it when you use Wallet. It should be read alongside the Wallet Terms and Conditions.
Amiqus is the data controller and is responsible for ensuring the personal data you provide through Wallet is processed in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 (Data Protection Law).

What Personal Data we collect and how this is collected
Personal data is information that can be used to directly or indirectly identify you, such as your contact information you provide when creating a Wallet account and any information about you within the documents you upload to Wallet or information you choose to save to your Wallet. We may also process special category data if this is included within documents or information that you upload to Wallet.
We will collect and store any documents or information, which you are permitted to upload in accordance with our terms and conditions to Wallet to provide you with our services.
We also collect data related to your use of the Amiqus mobile app for analytical purposes, to help improve our products and services. Each time you use our Apps we will automatically collect anonymised usage data related only to your use of any of our Apps or visits to any of our websites. This may include approximate location data (city / region, and country) and device data (device model and device operating system). It does not include any information or documents you choose to save within your Wallet or submit to any of our clients as part of your onboarding checks with them.
Purpose for using your personal data and lawful basis
We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Our lawful basis to process your personal data is to fulfil the contract you have entered into with us. When you sign up to use Wallet, choose to save any information, or choose to save any documents to your Wallet, we must process your personal data to provide you with our service.
We may capture anonymised usage data (non-personal data) to analyse how our products and services are used, and to use for the purposes of improving them.
If you agree that we can send you marketing information, we may use your personal data to share news and updates about Amiqus and its products.
How long we keep your personal data
You have control over the upload and deletion of your personal data from your Wallet account and you can delete your records at any time or contact us to request that we remove your personal data and close your account.
Your account will be archived and your personal data and documents deleted if it has not been accessed after 14 months.
International Transfers
We do not transfer your personal data outside the UK or EU.
Data Security
All information you provide to us is stored on secure servers. We use a secure user authentication process that enables you to access certain parts of our products and services, you are responsible for keeping this information confidential. We ask you not to share your user access credentials with anyone.
We may use your email address to authenticate your access to your Wallet. If you no longer have access to your email address, please contact [email protected] immediately.
